Machar Art 2009

A collaborative exhibition of photographs and artwork by the children of Karachi's largest shanty town Machar Colony was held at the Gallery of The Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. The exhibition which is an annual event of concern for children trust displayed a number of photographs, drawings, cyanotypes and clay works by the talented young artists along with some brilliant photographs by countries leading photographers who also volunteered for the organization and spent time with these poor kids to teach and guide them to produce art.
